Multistory buildings by Mies van der Rohe defined modern skylines. In Van der Rohe City, students and faculty collaborate as hybrid video avatars. Resembling a procedural open world that's vertically oriented, this software prototype generates columns and floors algorithmically in real-time. Ink-and-paint texture maps imply a blueprint for plug-in learning objects developed with a game engine. The skeletal buildings also symbolize iterative interaction design and software development.
