I taught Photography for Educators for nine years in JMU's College of Education. Early on, I created a PDF course book and an interactive demo for students. With physically-based rendering and global illumination, the Shadow and Light app simulates sunlight—tinted by earth's atmosphere—from dawn to dusk. This screen capture became the book's cover illustration.
