MONOLITHIC LOGO
JMU X‑Labs needed a logo. Like a monolithic screenbug, my submission animates easily and looks impressive in virtual reality. It was rejected in favor of a youthful 2D interpretation by a student intern. Luckily, 3D models are readily modified to suit other projects. Using commercial apps like Autodesk 3ds Max or free software like Blender, I can edit text objects, scene lights, camera setups, and animation parameters. Studios producing 3D computer graphics accumulate valuable libraries of recyclable digital objects.
